RetainQR
Privacy for homeowners
You're probably here because a real estate professional sent you a home-value magnet or link. This page explains what happens when you visit your home-value page. Last updated October 2026.
Who runs your page
Your page is published by the agent or brokerage shown on it, using RetainQR as their software provider. They decide who receives a page and are responsible for how they contact you. RetainQR processes the data on their behalf.
What your page shows
Your first name, your property's address and public property details (such as beds, baths and square footage), and an automated value estimate drawn from public records and third-party data providers. Estimates are not appraisals.
What we record when you visit
- That the page was opened, and whether it was opened by scanning the QR code.
- Which sections you scrolled to, whether you used the payment calculator, and which buttons you tapped.
- Your browser's user agent and referring page, plus a one-way hashed version of your IP address. We do not store your raw IP address.
Your agent sees this activity (for example “viewed their page today”) so they know when you might want to talk. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your information, and the page is hidden from search engines.
When you submit a form
If you request an estimate, a mortgage conversation or an insurance quote, we share what you enter (name, email, phone, message and any calculator or check-up answers) with your agent. Mortgage and insurance requests also go to the partner shown on your page, who will contact you directly.
How to opt out
Use the “Unsubscribe from updates” link at the bottom of your page. It turns your page off and tells your agent you no longer want updates. You can also contact your agent directly to ask what information they hold about you, or to have it deleted.
